Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) Digest
The Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) Digests provide a summary of testimonies given during each TRRC session in Gambia. They present the witnesses and list the names of the persons mentioned during testimony as having allegedly committed human rights violations and abuses and – as the case may be – their current position within State, regional or international institutions.
Hard copies of the publications are printed and widely disseminated as well as translated into the main local languages of the country (Fula, Jola, Mandinka and Wolof) in an attempt to reach the thousands of Gambians without access to Internet. The translated versions have been in high demand with request for personal use.
The TRRC Digests have received considerable interest from national and international actors and are being used by other NGOs and governments investigating perpetrators found on their territory.

THE TRUTH, RECONCILIATION AND REPARATIONS COMMISSION DIGEST FINAL EDITION
This flagship final edition of the Digest serves as a shadow report. The publication is an analytical summary of all the sessions with highlights of the essence of the testimonies from each session as well as updates on events that followed since then and steps taken by the government, if any. At the end of each session highlight, a list of the “Top 10 Persons” mentioned by witnesses is also presented. These are further analysed to come up with a “Top 20” list of persons mentioned overall by all the witnesses based on number of times mentioned, gravity of crime(s) committed and command responsibility.
The Final Edition is available in PDF format in English and in French. A mobile friendly interactive digital infographic is also available here.
